DESCRIPTION
Internships in the Governor’s office provide students an excellent opportunity to observe the workings of state government from the center of the executive branch. The intern will work alongside our communications director and deputy communications director. Duties include but are not limited to: organization of press conferences and various public affairs, assisting with press releases, and website updates. Special projects may be assigned. Knowledge of social media is helpful. Students applying for this internship should possess strong verbal and writing skills and an ability to produce a high-quality work product in a short amount of time.
